Trollhättan Waterfalls - a power release

Trollhättan waterfall is one of these experiences where the waiting time is longer than the actual show. But the minute the locks are opened 32 meters above, and 300 cubic meter of water pr. second is released, you completely forgets the hours you waited. This is a must see if you are in the area.

Waiting for the locks to open

Waiting from various darious view points

And then it starts

A daring place to watch from

Here it comes

Closer and closer

Now the riverbed is filled

Running for the estuary

And out in the big river

And everything is calm again
